🌆 City dog
🍷 Lives with adults only
Nike was adopted!

My favourite thing about Nike is...

He was my last walk of the day (I’m a volunteer walker) and a very poorly boy, very thin and couldn’t walk far. I decided to foster him eventually adopting him. He is the most loving funny boy. He chats to you all the time. Has us in hysterics with his antics we love him to bits. Really he rescued me as I was feeling very low at the time. Nike is my best boy.

The biggest challenge with Nike is...

Nike had forgotten his house training and it took along time to be clean in the house he is now brilliant at asking to go out. He doesn’t like other dogs and can be reactive how ever we manage this. We are not sure of his background he has many scars.

The most surprising thing about owning a Staffordshire Bull Terrier is...

They talk to you, they are very loyal and loving. Love children and very very intelligent. Bad press and bad owners have not done them any favours as a breed.

What I wish I’d known about Staffordshire Bull Terriers is...

How intelligent and loyal they are.

Did you know?

Developed originally by James Hinks of Birmingham, this breed was appearing at dog shows as early as 1862. But it wasn’t until the 1930s when it was recognised as being a separate breed from the Bull Terrier, and had a name change to distinguish the two, adding the county name where it had become so popular.
