Get to know Tia maria

Staffordshire Bull Terrier, 11 years old

🌆 City dog
🍼 Lives with children

My favourite thing about Tia maria is...

She shows so much emotion a family once travelled 5 hours in a car because they wanted to see her; her personality is the best she is also very intelligent.

The biggest challenge with Tia maria is...

She thinks everyone loves her so wants attention from everyone she sees, she can also open anything with a pull down handle.

The most surprising thing about owning a Staffordshire Bull Terrier is...

How she can open doors, how she knows what is going on through our body language also the amount of toys they get through! The amount of emotion and loyalty from a staff is incredible they are a very loving dog.

What I wish I’d known about Staffordshire Bull Terriers is...

They need a lot of attention like a newborn and they eat anything but I wouldn't change her for the world.

Did you know?

Developed originally by James Hinks of Birmingham, this breed was appearing at dog shows as early as 1862. But it wasn’t until the 1930s when it was recognised as being a separate breed from the Bull Terrier, and had a name change to distinguish the two, adding the county name where it had become so popular.
