Say Hello to Tyson
Staffordshire Bull Terrier, 8 years old
My favourite thing about Tyson is...
His got the nickname Dobby because when he smiles and his ears stick up he reminds me of Dobby from Harry Potter, or when he's happy playing with a ball he Bambi's 😂 or the way he eats his dental sticks, holds it with both paws and slaps his chops when eating it looking at me like he's proud of himself 😂 but most of all he loves to curl up and fall asleep on me 😂🥰
The biggest challenge with Tyson is...
Since losing his doggy companion he has become reactive towards other dogs.
The most surprising thing about owning a Staffordshire Bull Terrier is...
He's got a gentle personality.
What I wish I’d known about Staffordshire Bull Terriers is...
Do your research thoroughly.
Did you know?
Developed originally by James Hinks of Birmingham, this breed was appearing at dog shows as early as 1862. But it wasn’t until the 1930s when it was recognised as being a separate breed from the Bull Terrier, and had a name change to distinguish the two, adding the county name where it had become so popular.
