Meet Miles

He loves everyone and everything, he's not remotely phased by strangers, great with people of all ages, even children even though we don't have any. He loves all other animals big and small. Even though we don't have cats he's good with cats and he's AMAZING with small furries! He's got a big soft spot for donkeys too! There's been a couple occasions where he's rescued pigeon squabs too.

Other people taking one look at him and assuming he must be an aggressive dog because of his breed and crossing the road to avoid us. When he was younger he did get attacked a lot by offlead dogs when he was leashed which was very frustrating but that's an issue you come across owning any breed of dog, there are always going to be irresponsible owners

How much of an easy dog he is! We were prepared for a dog who would not like other dogs or animals and would be destructive and challenging and we got a fully housetrained, friendly with everything, very intelligent and eager to please and learn dog. The main issue was him liking other dogs too much to the point we had to leash him most of the time because it would affect his recall.

How much abuse we would get from other dog owners just because they have misconceived prejudices over staffys. Would have been helpful to have some time to mentally prepare for that.
