Get to know Dexter
Yorkshire Terrier, 3 years old
My favourite thing about Dexter is...
He is very very protective over my grandchildren, he loves to play with them chasing them in the garden and fighting over toys with my youngest grandson who is 2. My son had to sleep on the sofa because Dexter wouldn't let him move my sleeping granddaughter out of his bed. He will also pinch the socks off your feet before you know what's happened.
The biggest challenge with Dexter is...
Trying to stop the barking at every little thing. He is on constant watch and hears a pin drop.
The most surprising thing about owning a Yorkshire Terrier is...
They have the heart of a lion and will protect their loved ones.
What I wish I’d known about Yorkshire Terriers is...
I've owned Yorkies for years now and each one has has a different character...not one is the same as the other so don't compare yours with someone else.
