Get to know Luna
Yorkshire Terrier & Jack Russell Terrier, 8 years old
My favourite thing about Luna is...
She talks to me, understands me and knows when I’m ill. She’s super friendly with people and dogs and very playful and funny. She loves water - the sea, a lake, a puddle - no matter what if it’s water she’s in it! She's only tiny but gives great cuddles. She’s very obedient and doesn’t really need a lead but she has one just in case!! It’s just myself and her at home, and she loves children.
The biggest challenge with Luna is...
There isn’t one; she’s always been from 8 weeks old really good.
The most surprising thing about owning a Yorkshire Terrier & Jack Russell Terrier is...
She’s funny, very excitable, sometimes stubborn and she likes to go where she wants which is quite funny because she usually wins. I’ve always had bigger dogs and when my son brought her home to me she was so tiny I had to be careful not to stand on her!
What I wish I’d known about Yorkshire Terriers & Jack Russell Terriers is...
I wish I’d got one sooner as they are great fun.
