PRO PLAN® VETERINARY DIETS Feline NF Renal Function Tender Pieces in Gravy with Salmon Wet Cat Food
A complete wet cat food diet for the support of renal function in cases of chronic renal insufficiency in adult and senior cats. Formulated with restricted but high-quality proteins and low level of phosphorus to help slow the progression of chronic kidney disease. This diet has a great taste to satisfy renal patients with reduced appetite.
It is not suitable for cats that require a high protein or phosphorus intake, such as pregnant queens and growing kittens.
This is a veterinary diet that should always be fed under veterinary supervision.
Please note that all indications for Purina Veterinary Diets mentioned on this website are for the dietary support of the dog (or cat) with the listed condition and do not preclude appropriate medical management. The veterinary diets should be used under veterinary supervision.
See table.
It is recommended that a veterinarian’s opinion be sought before use.
For each additional 1 kg of body weight, feed an additional ¼ of can or 1/2 of pouch per day when only wet food, and 15 g of dry food when only dry food fed.
Cats with chronic kidney disease should be fed Feline NF St/Ox Renal Function for life.

A gradual transition to a new diet may be especially helpful in cats with chronic kidney disease (CKD). Cats with CKD that remain inappetent or anorexic cats should be assessed for nausea. Warming the product to room temperature can enhance palatability for cats with a fussy appetite.
Where adequate fluid intake is a concern, the PURINA® PRO PLAN® VETERINARY DIETS NF St/Ox Renal Function™ wet formula is strongly recommended.
Cats with chronic kidney disease should be fed Feline NF St/Ox Renal Function for life.

Chronic kidney disease is one of the most common and important diseases in older cats. Although CKD is irreversible, appropriate intervention may help to:
• Limit additional damage to the kidneys (e.g.
where an underlying cause can be treated).
• Slow the progression of disease and significantly
enhance survival.
• Address complications that arise from the
CKD (e.g. hypertension).
• Improve the quality of life for the patient.'
This is a veterinary diet for cats diagnosed with kidney disease – and should always be fed under vet supervision. It is not suitable for cats that require a high protein or phosphorus intake, such as pregnant queens and growing kittens.
