My dog is usually a fussy creature when it comes to food. He will sniff and walk away from most but with this food he is eagerly waiting for me to fill his bowl first thing in the morning. I'll definitely be buying this in future!
Initial impressions when I received the dog food were that the packaging is very good quality and very strong. The information on it is clear and all the nutritional information clearly laid out. Looking at the ingredients it seems well rounded with lots of ingredients to support joints and fur etc. The food itself is in quite large chunks and seems a little more oily than previous dog foods I have used. It's good that it's not too dry. Usually I add a pouch of wet dog food and mix it with dry kibble but that's not necessary with this food. As for the taste my dog loves it. He's always excited at meal times and can't get to his bowl fast enough. Overall a very good dog food that I would buy again.
I introduced this gradually as Mutt has a very sensitive digestion, I have noticed a significant change to her poo - which is now much easier to pick up 💩
This is the first time I've fed Pro Plan, as I have been concerned about changing her food, as it took a while after we rescued her to find a dry food that her digestion could tolerate and she would eat. I am pleased that she seemed happy to eat the kibble and am considering making this change permanent.
So my beautiful boys certainly enjoyed this food, they can be fussy boys, so I am always a bit cautious when trying something new, but we have no complaints here, in fact bowls are empty a lot sooner than usual! The food smells good quality and is a manageable size. Packaging looks really nice, the brand stands out and you can clearly see what brand it is. Overall I am very impressed!
