Feeding guide
One sachet of PRO PLAN FortiFlora can be used daily on a long-term basis. Give 1 sachet of PRO PLAN FortiFlora every day, sprinkled on top of the regular food, until at least 1 week after the return to normal stool quality. To reduce flatulence in dogs, give 1 sachet of PRO PLAN FortiFlora every day for at least 2 weeks.
To help support immune system function, give 1 sachet of PRO PLAN FortiFlora every day. When feeding to restore intestinal microflora balance due to antibiotic use, give 1 sachet of PRO PLAN FortiFlora every day during the antibiotic course and for 1 week after the last dose of antibiotic. Ideally, PRO PLAN Fortiflora should be given at least 2 hours apart from any antibiotics.

Purina proplan FortiFlora is a canine probiotic. It has been very helpful for our labrador who suffers from bowel issues. The sachet of powder is added to his regular food and she is non the wiser! Each 1 gram sachet contains live lactic acid bacteria to help support intestinal health and balance. I have been adding these to my dogs food for a week now and I have noticed a difference. Definitely recommend to give it a try if your dog needs a little help maintaining balance!
I tried the probiotic supplements on my shihtzu, she tends to get issues with a delicate stomach, these seem like a really good idea. I can't say I've seen any huge difference with them yet, but maybe on longer use there would be some changes, she is a little less windy. They're easy to use, just take a pack and pop it in with the food, she didn't seem to notice or mind that it was in there so with continued use I hope to see further improvement as I know these things can take time.
I was a bit apprehensive to be trying the probiotic supplement as I have tried similar products and specialists dog foods previously which didn’t ever solve my dogs soft stool problems entirely.
We’ll I can now say that these are fantastic.
For the first time in the two years that I have had my dog, her stools have been the right consistency and not a sloppy mess. Very happy to have tried this and will now be ordering more as I can’t go back to life without it!
Taste wise- it’s a powder supplement which you sprinkle on your dogs food. My dog didn’t even notice it was there and ate her food as usual.
My little dog arthur tried this and I’m quite amazed how it’s settled his tummy after a couple of days, took time to get them into him but once he’d realised that in away they were like a treat he took them no problem. They have definitely helped with his tummy and his poos have gotten better and firmer which was no fun for him until he started taking these Fortiflora pro plan which has helped make a great difference and would definitely recommend them to anyone who’s dog has an upset stomach quite regularly.
