My cat is getting on a bit (shes almost 16) and she finds eating some meats difficult due to the large chunks. I find when buying standard tinned food for her she doesn't tend to eat most of it and will eat the gravy or jelly and leave the chunks which I find a waste. I also find that large tins also tend to go bad and start smelling really nasty especially in hot weather during the summer. When I give Spoogie Gourmet Gold she eats it all up and licks the plate clean - there is no wastage and she really seems to enjoy eating all her food. Plus the chunks are smaller and she doesn't have any problems eating them.

I bought this product last week to see if Humphrey my very fussy cat would like a change in her diet. Normally she will only eat dry cat food but as she is now getting older (12 years young), I thought that she would like to try something with a little more flavour and texture. The opening of the tin was very easy and Humphrey showed great interest at once. First she smelt it and then started to eat it straight from the tin, I had great fun trying to get the food into her dish at the same time. The result was a dish licked clean and a very happy and contented cat.
