Our rescue dog had never been given dry food before, this was her first time trying a product like this, I was also happy it was a product by a reputable brand. The quality is great it has moisture not dry and stiff like others, a little bit goes along way and a 1kg box comes with a fair price.
Got the Bakers Adult Meaty Meals (Beff) on Saturday and started Eve on it Saturday night. Upto me writing this review all her stools have been solid with no watery deposits afterwards. She seems to be doing fine with it and I carry some in a bag to use as treats when I am out and about with her, every dog I have offed them to eat with relish. Three people asked me what they were so I told them.
My senior dog loves these Baker's meaty meals with beef. We use them as treats in her snuffle ball and other toys to keep her mind agile as well as her body. Empty bowl every dinner time too
Would not feed my dogs anything else. Have had dogs 45 years and initially discovered Bakers complete when we had Golden Retrievers. They loved the food and it certainly suited their digestive system but we found the first thing they ate was the meaty chunks and then eventually went back and ate the rest. We switched to meaty chunks as they clearly preferred this and never looked back! Over time have had many different breeds large and small- black labs, springer spaniels, Yorkshire terriers and currently a Lhasa. Bakers meaty chunks has been enjoyed by all- not to mention the visiting dogs who sneak food out of the bowl! Since having smaller dogs we always leave food on the bowl and the dogs seem to self regulate and eat their food when hungry. No problem with flies and stale food sitting around. Very happy!
