Purina PRO PLAN Light / Sterilised dry dog food is made with high quality chicken pieces as the first ingredient and optimised protein and fat levels. A lower fat content helps promote weight loss. When combined with a daily walk, this food is proven to enable a body fat loss of up to 60% within 12 weeks and healthy subsequent weight maintenance thanks to the high protein and low fat content. Recommended daily amount (g/day)
See table for recommended daily feeding amounts for both weight maintenance and weight loss. These amounts are guidelines only. When feeding for weight maintenance, to help keep your dog in an ideal body condition adjust the daily amounts according to your dog’s activity level, physical condition and individual needs. If your dog is over his ideal weight, follow the weight loss feeding guides. I WAN QUITE EXCITED TO TRY SOMETHING THAT PARTICULARLY TARGETS MY DOGS, LETS SAY POST CHRISTMAS EXTRA POUNDS.
SHE IS A AMERICAN/MASTIFF BULLDOG, SO QUITE STOCKY AS IT IS.
THE FIRST PORTION I WAS SCEPTICAL SHE'D LIKE IT , BUT FOUND THE MUNCHED ON THAT BOWL WITH GREAT ENTHUSIASM.
SHE CAN BE VERY SELECTIVE WITH DRY FOOD AND WAS GREATLY PLEASED TO SEE HER EATING IT WITH EXCITEMENT. INITIALLY I DIDNT NOTICE RESULTS, I EXPECTED IT MIGHT TAKE A WHILE.
THE FOOD SEEMS TO KEEP HER GOING AND KEEPS HER APETITE AT BAY. THE LACK OF SUGAR IN IT AS PER OTHER DOG FOOD KEEPS HER CALM AND A SMALL NOTICE IN HER OVERALL WEIGHT CAN BE SEEN.
I AM EXPECTING VOER THE NEXT COUPLE OF MONTHS TO REALLY SEE THE DIFFERENCE .

Our miniature dachshund Shelby has continued to enjoy the Optiweight food and as previously reported it couldn’t have come at a better time as our vet had said she was slightly overweight and to cut back on her regular food and treats. She’s a hungry little hound always looking for food so this has been ideal for her! It had been very much trial and error with her food up to now; some she did not like at all. This she seems to enjoy and needs no persuasion. Hopefully she will become a little leaner into the bargain!
After a good start, where Toshi seemed to enjoy eating this, he then stopped, despite it being the only food I put down for him. It seems he will only eat wet food, which is disappointing as this seemed to be ideal for his weight, teeth and cost to me.
