Get to know Bertie
Bearded Collie & Saluki, 9 Months old
My favourite thing about Bertie is...
Like all Beardies he is cheeky, playful and very handsome (and knows it!) He is super bouncy and just loves everyone, adults, children other dogs, cats...we have yet to meet anyone or anything he didn't want to meet and greet. He is inquisitive and confident and just loves life!!
The biggest challenge with Bertie is...
His enthusiasm for life can be a challenge as he wants to greet everyone with hugs and kisses. He is still learning his manners and his recall skills!!! He loves to steal things and run off when he gets bored or feels he has not had our attention for a while!
The most surprising thing about owning a Bearded Collie & Saluki is...
We didn't really know what to expect having no prior experience of the Saluki breed who we have been told can be quite aloof. Bertie is definitely not aloof!! Quite the opposite, his attitude is pure joyful Beardie bounce.
What I wish I’d known about Bearded Collies & Salukis is...
No negatives, unless you are a little dog fan, as he is very large!
