Get to know Harri
Bichon Frise, 3 years old
My favourite thing about Harri is...
When he's eaten a good meal,he likes to. hump my leg,or if I'm sitting down he buries his head next to me and puts his bottom into the air.
The biggest challenge with Harri is...
He was rescued from the streets of spain,he was found with a broken back leg,no tail and 6 dog bites,he came to me so nervous and scared. He is after 1yr10mths slowly coming round,he has excepted a friend, and is confident with me and hubby, but any loud noise,or strange person he goes straight back to a scared little boy.
The most surprising thing about owning a Bichon Frise is...
Harri is a Bichon X, I'm sure he has a bit of terrier in him,he can be really cheeky,he likes to pinch something of mine if I'm not looking,he is also stubborn at times. He likes to sleep where I sit but if I'm there he sulks,he will sit in his bed staring at me,but will not sleep,he has at times tried to push me out of my seat.
What I wish I’d known about Bichon Frises is...
How quick his fur grows. I groom him myself, which is a job and a half, he's to scared to go to a groomers.I try to talk to him calmly and make sure plenty of treats are at hand.
