Meet Harley
French Bulldog, 6 years old
My favourite thing about Harley is...
how funny he is on a daily basis, he just wants to please us (his mummies) every single day whether that be with funny antics, kisses, going crazy around the house.
The biggest challenge with Harley is...
his typical bulldog stubbornness which means he has very selective hearing
The most surprising thing about owning a French Bulldog is...
how much energy they actually have, so many people think that bulldogs are lazy breeds with not much up and go. This couldn't be further from the truth!
What I wish I’d known about French Bulldogs is...
how stubborn they are, this can often make training quite difficult as a frenchie will choose to ignore a command although it knows it perfectly. Persistence is key!
Did you know?
In the majority of cases, French Bulldogs can’t swim because of their short snouts, which cause their body to tilt backward to keep their nose and mouth above water, and their large heads and short legs make it difficult for them to stay afloat.
