Say Hello to Mochi

Japanese Shiba Inu, 6 Months old

🏠 Suburbs dog
🍷 Lives with adults only

My favourite thing about Mochi is...

Her tail twitches when really excited. Along with so many adorable habits.

The biggest challenge with Mochi is...

Teething had the toll around the house. Loved to scrape off the paint and made a slight hole into the plasterboard.

The most surprising thing about owning a Japanese Shiba Inu is...

How talkative she is. And the bathtime screaming makes you cringe.

What I wish I’d known about Japanese Shiba Inus is...

Teething can be very painful. Had to use all tools to ease her pain.

Did you know?

The word “inu” means dog in Japanese and Shiba means “brushwood”, but it’s not clear whether the breed was named for the terrain where they hunted or the colour of the autumn brushwood.
