My favourite thing about Ian is...
He is loyal, clever, happy to snooze once he has had a good walk but also happy to be on the go for long periods of time. He is very sociable with people and other dogs.
The biggest challenge with Ian is...
He isn't as food obsessed as most labs so training can be difficult unless you have cheese. He loves to chase anything that moves which can be challenging living in the countryside.

They aren't always food obsessed.

There is definitely a difference between the working and show lines. Working lines definitely want to be kept busier.
