The relentless barking! High pitched and for no reason. They are stubborn (the Bichon) so don’t get fed up of doing it either!
The most surprising thing about owning a Poodle (Toy) & Bichon Frise is...
Energy levels are high, they are not lap dogs as I was lead to believe. He’s also super intelligent so great for training but it also means physical exercise alone is not enough, they need lots of mental stimulation too. You can literally see them thinking sometimes which is super cute.
What I wish I’d known about Poodles (Toy) & Bichon Frises is...
They are very needy and suffer from separation anxiety. They are not an easy breed and I would not recommend them for first time owners. I’ve previously had Rottweilers and believe it or not they’re far easier!
