My favourite thing about Barney is...
He is such a funny character. He loves to play with his toys so much and is always taunting you to come and play with him. He has never chewed anything even when left on his own. He always greets me with wags of his tail and will bark until you say hello back.
The biggest challenge with Barney is...
He is a very fussy eater. As a puppy he would eat his food as you were putting it down but has become a lot more selective as he's got older.
The most surprising thing about owning a Shih Tzu is...
How much fun he turned out to be. I thought he would shed more hair but it is surprisingly low.

Depending on how a Shih Tzu's face is they can have breathing problems. This is because they have a shorter nose area and their nostrils can be squashed up.
