My JRT x Border Collie is overweight and suffers with arthritis, so I have been trying to cut down on her food to take the strain off her joints. I was very pleased to receive this bag of Light food, and Daisy seemed more than happy when I opened the bag and let her have a sniff!
I like that the kibble has no colouring, preservatives or artificial flavourings. I am trying to keep Daisy’s food as natural as possible while still keeping it tasty. This food has a prebiotic added, so aiding digestion.
I swapped some of Daisy’s food for this for the first few days but now she has progressed to only having this. She looks forward to her dinner, always first into the kitchen when she hears the kibble falling into her bowl. She never leaves any!
It is very easy to measure out the correct size portion, there is very little odour, and because it is a dry food there are no pesky flies lurking round the bowl.
I will definitely continue feeding Daisy with this food, and will look at getting some for three year old Billy who is not overweight, but has epilepsy.
I have just purchased another bag of this food for Daisy.
Unfortunately my small dog tried to eat this but the biscuits were too big and hard for her to bite. She did try but gave up. I put some warm water on them to soften but she just wouldn't entertain them.

Our little or not so little, hence requesting Turkey Low Fat Pruina Beta enjoyed the taste and smell of the low fat Turkey biscuits. He had his snout in there as soon as I poured them into his biscuit bowl.
He didn’t appear to mind when I swapped his original biscuits, for the Prunia Beta Low Fat Turkey, which surprised me as I thought he’d be similar to me when I go for a low fat version of something and I don’t like the low fat versions.
I didn’t have to mix them with his meat and he do as he previously did, grazing the turkey biscuits during the day. I’m not too sure if he has lost much weight but it’s early days to tell.
