Was given this try for my dog Dexter who is an active spaniel! Although he is only 7 years old I wanted to be able to provide food that would enable him to continue being active and agile! It took a couple of days to introduce the food and he now loves it. We have to use an anti gulp bowl as he tends to wolf his food down. Love the ingredients and the packaging and love that it is helping him stay brain active as he is getting older
Hi I was asked to review this food to my very fussy Yorkshire terrier so I started slowly introducing it at meal times but I’m really sorry to say he wouldn’t eat it , I tried on a number of days but he just wouldn’t eat it don’t think it’s the food I think he is just stuck in his ways .
Really happy with the results of this food. My old girl has enjoyed the new food and I definitely see an improvement in her activity level and general mood. She's been much more playful. I only mark down 1 star as more flavours or some softer chunks I think would provide more variation for her and keep her interest. Otherwise a great product I'd recommend anyone with an older dog to try.
I decided to try Purina Pro Plan with Optiage, mainly for my older whippet who is now 7. I am glad I did, as she loves it. Even though we have had such hot weather lately, she has been showing the boundless energy of a puppy! Is it down to feeding with Purina Pro Plan with Optiage, or just coincidence? I don't know for sure but I will certainly continue feed it to her.
