Bakers £5 Off Coupon FAQs
1. What is a digital coupon and how is it different to the usual coupons?
A digital coupon is a coupon which is activated via your mobile phone and can be redeemed without you needing to print at home and give to the in-store cashier.
2. Do I need to download an app to access my coupon?
No, you don’t need to download anything. You will receive a link to click through to your digital coupon, either through an email or via our website.
3. Do I need to print the coupon?
No, this is a digital coupon which you show the cashier at your chosen retailer, when you are ready to purchase the named product.
4. How do I use a digital coupon?
Show the coupon to the cashier or till operator when you are ready to pay for your purchase and they will scan the barcode from your mobile phone.
5. Which retailers can the coupon be redeemed in?
The coupon can only be redeemed in all Tesco stores (main store, petrol station, metro express and extra); Morrisons main stores (excluding Morrisons daily) and Coop any blue logo store (excluding Coop societies).
6. Can I use the coupon in conjunction with a retailer’s promotion?
Retailers may limit or reject the use of coupons in conjunction with other coupons, vouchers, offers, promotions and/or loyalty schemes. Please check with the retailer.
7. Can the digital coupons be used/redeemed online and via Supermarket Apps?
No. The coupons can only be used in-store and with the retailers listed on the coupon/terms and conditions.
8. Can I use this digital coupon at a self checkout?
The digital coupons can be redeemed at retailer self checkouts, however this is at each individual retailers discretion as to whether they allow this.
9. What do I do if the retailer asks me for a physical/printed coupon at the till?
The retailer will not ask you for a coupon. If for any reason they do then you just need to say that it is a digital coupon.
10. Can I use the digital coupon at all stores?
The coupon can only be redeemed in all Tesco stores (main store, petrol station, metro express and extra); Morrisons main stores (excluding Morrisons daily) and Coop any blue logo store (excluding Coop societies).
11. Sometimes my phone signal or internet access is restricted when I enter a supermarket, will I be able to access my digital coupon if this happens?
We recommend only activating the coupon while at the checkout. If you have any phone signal issue at this point that prevent you from accessing the coupon, we recommend asking to connect to the retailer WIFI to ensure access to the coupon.
12. Can I take a screenshot of my digital coupon prior to using it in-case I don’t have signal in-store?
No you cannot take a screenshot of the coupon. We would recommend where possible to connect to the retailer WIFI to prevent any potential access issues.
13. How do I activate the coupon?
When you are ready to purchase the named product (see coupon and terms & conditions) and are at the till with your digital coupon, you click activate on the coupon. A timer will be shown with a 30minute counter, and this is how long the digital coupon is active and able to be redeemed for.
14. Which products can I use the coupon on?
This coupon can be used against your next purchase of PURINA BAKERS® Small Dog Sensitive Tummy. This coupon is valid from 23rd September 2024 – 25th October 2024.
15. How long is the coupon valid for?
This coupon is valid from 23rd September 2024 – 25th October 2024. Once activated, the coupon will be valid for 30 minutes. There is a timer which will be shown once activated.
16. What happens after the 30mins pass post-coupon activation?
After 30 minutes the coupon will no longer be valid so we do not recommend activating the digital coupon until you are at the checkout. Prior to clicking to activate the digital coupon you will be prompted to only click “activate” when you are at the checkout.
17. Can the 30 minute activation limit be extended?
No this is a security feature and cannot be extended. Once the digital coupon activation period of 30 minutes have passed, the coupon will no longer be active and cannot be used.
18. What if the coupon expires at the exact moment of redeeming?
To prevent this, we recommend that you click to activate the coupon when you are at the checkout. Prior to activating the coupon it is clear that there is a time limit once active.
19. What happens if my coupon expires?
If your coupon expires you will be shown an error message when you try to activate it. Unfortunately this means that you are no longer able to use the coupon.
20. Can the digital coupon be forwarded to a friend for usage?
Each unique digital coupon link can only be activated once so it cannot be shared. If a second attempt to activate the digital coupon occurred, an error message would be shown.
21. My barcode was/is moving and would/will not stop. What does this mean?
The barcode is set up to move intermittently as a security measure. Do not worry this is meant to happen and it will scan.
22. My chosen retailer has not accepted the coupon, why did this happen?
We recommend redeeming your digital coupon at a checkout manned by a cashier to prevent any issues with the coupon. If for any reason they are unable to scan the coupon we recommend asking the in-store Customer Service team for assistance. Acceptance of the coupon is subject to retailers discretion.
23. I have tried to redeem Purina coupons in Morrisons in the past but have not been able to, will these coupons work?
In previous couponing campaigns Purina have utilised a 'print at home' coupon. As this coupon is a digital format, the set up is different and is now digitally integrated. This should minimise issues with Morrisons system. If you do still have problems trying to redeem, we recommend asking an in store customer service member for assistance.
24. Is the coupon valid for use outside of the UK?
No. you can only use this coupon in the UK at the following retailers:
• all Tesco stores (Superstore, Petrol station, Express, Metro and Extra)
• Morrisons main stores (excluding Morrisons Daily)
• Coop any blue logo store (excluding Coop societies).
25. Can I use more than one coupon at a time on the same product or within one transaction?
The Coupon may be used in the same transaction as other Savi coupons. However, you may not use more than one Savi coupon on the same item.
