My dog just turned 1 so I decided to switch him from the beta puppy food onto this, foolishly I jumped right into the normal 14kg bag I usually get as it's more convenient due to not being near a store, and I thought it would be alright as he was on the puppy version prior to this.
After a month of him barely eating I have had to spend another £30 on a bag of the puppy food again (as well as a lot of money on wet food to see if it would help him eat it) because my dog HATED this. He is a dachshund and has an overbite, the kibble is unnecessarily big for him and I eventually had to start cutting every piece up which was very time consuming, but even then he would still cry with it in his mouth because of the size. For this food to work for your dog, they will have to be very large, and I am unsure why this is so big if not aimed at a giant dog breed.
Thankfully he is happily eating his puppy kibble again, will be a while before I brave another switch! Wish more brands had images and measurements of their biscuit sizes as it is very frustrating for people who need to order online.
Will avoid these... thought the pin holes were part of the biscuit texture but sadly not
I had high hopes for this product when it first arrived. My dog ate it happily and seemed to enjoy it a lot. However, after about a week, she stopped showing as much interest in her dinner bowl. She would leave meals barely touched or turn her nose up at them entirely. I wondered at first if she was ill, but when I tried her with a different dry food she ate it eagerly. I tried serving the product in water and mixed with wet food. The latter worked, so at least we'll be able to finish the bag, but I wouldn't buy another bag. I'm disappointed. It seems like this product simply isn't compatible with my dog.
I started my golden on this last april hasnt stopped his seizures but has changed the severity of them he used to have clusters of 2 or 3 seizures now has single seizures lasting 1 minute or so and comes round very quickly before he would go blind bumping into things for a couple of minutes not anymore
Excellent dog food! My pup loves the taste - super healthy and great value
My yorkie absolutely loves them, he take himself away and munchies on them then comes back for another!! As well as a treat I also use them as a training aid now I know he'd do anything for one!!!
